We believe a strong partnership between home and school is fundamental to the success of our pupils. We acknowledge the key role parents and carers play in children's learning and value your support.

Your child will be expected to read regularly at home. Throughout Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2, parents are encouraged to record comments and date reading record books. Spellings, times tables and homework activities are set weekly  (depending on the year group)and there is opportunity to discuss what your child has been studying at school and support their learning.

We have set up home access for all our pupils using the internet resource Purple Mash. Every child has a unique log in and password which enables them to access the resources and retrieve or save work to their personal file. The resource is used to set home learning activities which can be saved to a class file for the teacher to collect, print and mark.

You can access the site by typing: www.purplemash.co.uk/sch/osbaston

Thank you for your support.
