St Mary’s Church has grown from a community of Benedictine monks, who established a priory there in 1101. Since that time, there have been four churches on this site.Today, St Mary’s is a parish and civic church for the town and community of Monmouth

“Whoever you are; wherever you come from, you are welcome here!”

The people of The Monmouth Group of Parishes try to make these words come alive by example. They are a community of four Anglican parishes in Monmouth and the immediate rural area and part of the Church in Wales.

Harvest Festival

We celebrated Harvest together at St Mary's Church in a service of songs, prayers and readings. Every pupil donated a gift of tineed, dried and packet food which has been taken to Raven House Trust in Newport. This charity ensures those in our community who are most in need receive much needed food parcels.
