Osbaston Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club opens every morning during term time and is located in the Upper School Hall. There are two Breakfast Club options:

1. Childcare and free breakfast at a cost of £2 per day per pupil. Pupils registered for childcare and breakfast must be dropped off between 7.45 and 8.25am. (Please note a start time of 8.00am for Reception aged pupils).

2. Breakfast only. Pupils registered for breakfast only must arrive between 8.30 and 8.35am. This allows time for pupils to eat breakfast before the start of the school day.

All of our children receive a free breakfast and may choose two options from a selection of cereal, wholemeal toast, crumpets, teacakes, fruit and yoghurts. Water and milk are available to drink.

The Breakfast Club is run by five members of staff: Mrs Kift, Mrs Biggs, Mr Prosser, Mrs Pritchard and Miss Prosser.

Breakfast Club has limited places and parents can select the days they wish to use the facility and the type of breakfast club arrangement. The club is extremely popular and there may a waiting list for some of the days during the week.  ALL parents who have enrolled their children in the provision must access the club regularly. We ask parents to pay for Breakfast Club in advance and this is accessed using your child's Parent Pay account. We are unable to 'hold' places at Breakfast Club and if a pupil has not attended over a four week period, their place will be offered other pupils on the waiting list.

Every pupil must be registered at our Breakfast Club and forms must be completed and signed to ensure we have up to date contact details and information about dietary requirements and medical needs.

A register of attendance is taken every morning and Lower School parents and carers are required to bring children inside the building to sign in. Upper School pupils can sign themselves in.

Before the start of the school day, all pupils attending Breakfast Club have the option of going outside to play on the school yard. At 8.40am Lower School pupils are taken to the Lower School yard by Breakfast Club staff and supervised until their class teacher is there to receive them. Upper School pupils remain on the school yard and are joined by other pupils after 8.40am and are fully supervised by Breakfast Club staff until the duty teacher arrives.
