Every year, a new School Development Plan is written by staff and Governors. This outlines the key priorities for improvement for the year based upon our continued processes of self-assessment.

This is shared with all staff at the start of every academic year. 

A high level summary is published annually alongside a review of the progress made against the priorities for the previous academic year. 

Year 1:        2025- 2026	Priority
1	Improve accuracy of spelling through effective teaching and learning
2	Embed principles of excellence in teaching and learning for all learners
3	Develop opportunities to inspire learners through a broad range of technological experiences linked to STEM learning
4	Monitor the impact of curriculum development and leadership

 

Year 2:        2026-2027	Priority
1	Improve standards in Methemtics with a focus upon problem solving and reasoning
2	Refine curriculum offer ensuring breadth of opportunity to secure pupils' knolwedge, skills and experiences in Science and Technology
3	Embed self-evaluation to ensure quality in standards and provision as a Church in Wales School
4	Continue to grow leadership to support succession planning

 

Year 3: 2026/2027	Priority
1	Further develop breadth and application of literacy across the curriculum
2	Improve authentic opportunities for learenrs to develop and apply digital skills and computational thinking
3	Refine assessement and tracking to ensure progression for all learners
4	Secure effective leadership at all levels
