Becoming a Volunteer

We welcome volunteers to our school. Volunteers can be family members or members of our community who are willing to give some of their time to support activities and events to support our pupils.

Volunteers do not need any experience, simply a passion to be involved in school life. You may wish to help with a particular activity such as reading or craft, or help with trips and visits. You may want to help out on a particular day each week, or now and then.

In order to become a volunteer you will need to:

*complete a DBS check

*produce 2 written character references

*complete Group A online Safeguarding course (Monmouthshire training)

*complete face to face Group A+ safeguarding training with Mrs Jones (Head teacher)

Please contact the school and speak with Mrs Kift in the School Office for further guidance.
