New Half Term, New Value
Our value for the new half term is RESPECT.
Respect means treating others the way you want to be treated yourself. It is showing you value people, their feelings, and their belongings through your actions and words. When you are respectful, you make others feel safe, cared for, and important
Respect is not just for others; it is for yourself, too. Self-respect means making healthy choices, being proud of who you are, and not letting anyone treat you unkindly.
We can show respect by:
Active listening: looking at people when they are speaking and not interrupting them.
Using good manners: saying "please/ os gwelwch yn dda," "thank you/ diolch," and "excuse me/ esgusodwch fi".
Valuing differences: being kind to everyone, even if they look, speak, act, or think differently than you.
Caring for property: treating toys, books, equipment and resources, as well as our classrooms and school grounds with care and consideration. These matter to someone else.
In the Bible, we are told, “Show proper respect to everyone” 1 Peter 2:17. Matthew 7:12 also tells us, “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets”
These verses remind us of the Golden Rule- to do good things.
Our School
We are blessed with extensive green space and our split school site is surrounded by well-established trees and shrubs.

Being Safe Online
Technology opens a world at our fingertips. We want our learners to be safe online and continue to work with them to remind them how they can enjoy being online for academic activities as well as for leisure and fun.
Often pupils know more than parents and carers. It is important adults know and understand how different apps and platforms work. The information below provides you with further information.
